The holiday season is here, and what better way to bring festive cheer to your music classroom than with a bucket drumming play-along to the classic Jingle Bell Rock! 🎄🥁
In this fun and engaging video, I’ve broken down the rhythm patterns for bucket drumming to make it easy for your students to follow along. The sheet music and song form in the video can be printed out below.
The whole song is mostly hand to hand. Right hand Left. Or Vice versa.
The only tricky parts may be switching the order from A Section to B Section where you’ll play 2 left’s in a row. The other is the stop at the F (fill) section. Make sure to count so you can pick back up on beat 2 with the left hand.
The end has a fun drum roll! Extend as long as you want and you can increase volume as loud as you want then signal to end together. Woo hoo! or Hooo hooo! (like 🎅 🤷♂️ 😆)
